UN-Water has announced that it is developing a status report on the application of integrated approaches to the development, management and use of water resources, for UNCSD (Rio+20). Based on 122 state responses to a global survey, the report is to include: lessons learned and recommendations; recommended areas for action; and guidance on the establishment of an international monitoring and reporting framework to promote sustainable development and management of water resources.
