ECOSOC 2011 session
The 1st organizational meeting of the Economic and Social Council’s 2011 session took place on 18 January at UN/HQ. The Council elected its new President, Lazarous Kapambwe (Zambia), as well as four Vice-Presidents: Abulkalam Abdul Momen (Bangladesh); Miloš Koterec (Slovakia); Gonzalo Gutiérrez (Peru); and Jan Grauls (Belgium).
