As part of the in-depth review of the programme of work on island biodiversity (IBPoW), the CBD Secretariat has invited interested parties to participate in a collaborative effort to address the issue of invasive alien species (IAS) on islands. The review will be conducted by SBSTTA-16 in May 2012, and considered by COP-11 in 2012.
