5th EC and AU Commission "College-to-College" meeting

Meeting from 31 May-1 June in Brussels (Belgium), the 5th College-to-College meeting of the European Commission and the African Union (AU) Commission discussed ways to enhance cooperation both on short-term challenges and on the long-term structural changes, such as green growth, climate change and biodiversity. In the Joint Declaration adopted at the conclusion of the meeting, representatives, inter alia, address the MDGs and UNCSD (Rio+20).
